Yes Bank Customers can now link their RUPAY Credit Cards to BHIM, Google Pay, Phone PE, Paytm, and others.
By Crox Times Desk: Finally, Yes Bank launched the RUPAY Credit card to make easy UPI transactions. This means now customers can link their RUPAY Credit Cards with popular UPI apps such as Google Pay, Paytm, MobiKwik, Phone Pe, Google Pay, and many others. Previously, credit cards were limited to POS-commerce-based transactions. With this newly launched opportunity, now customers can pay via QR Codes. The bank also launched the “Credit-Free” period as well for customers who are making transactions via UPI. Earlier this “Credit-Free” Period was limited to POS-based transactions only.
Those who don’t have a RUPAY credit card can convert the same into one or can obtain a virtual Yes Bank RUPAY Credit Card before linking the card for UPI Transactions. However, it should be noted this would be in virtual form and will not be issued in any plastic form.

Since it is in virtual form so there would be no chance of getting stolen or misplaced. Using the card for UPI transactions enables customers to gain some valuable reward Points which can be used with Yes Rewardz. This credit card is also an ideal choice when it comes to making foreign transactions as it only charges 2.5% on foreign markup.
How to link Yes RUPAY Credit Card to UPI?
- Open your UPI App and enter the credentials
- Next, go to the option “Add credit/debit card”
- From the list of banks Select “Yes Bank”
- Your card would be successfully linked to the UPI App.
