Exponent Energy Stack has claimed to address two key problems- Lithium plating and excessive heat which prevented rapid charging on LFP Cells.
By Crox Media Desk: Energy tech Startup has revealed the technology behind 15 minutes charging solution for the Electric Vehicle (EV). It showcased their proprietary Energy stack battery pack, charging station, and charging plug that brings 15-minute rapid change and long battery life (3,000 cycle life warranty, 3x industry standard) and this is done on regular LFP cells.
Arun Vinayak, CEO and Co-founder of Exponent Energy said, “We are building the future of energy that combines cutting-edge engineering that aligns with real-world economies and our off-board thermal management system is proof of it. For everyone to accept EV, they require quick and long last charging that costs less as well”
He further added “Our unique two-sided approach to charge EV in 15 minutes last three times longer and cost 30% less than the conventional one. And we are excited to upscale this process to the metro cities like Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Ahmedabad”
The company claims that they have completed over 25,000 rapid charging sessions and covered more than 10,00,000 km with more than 200 EVs in Bengaluru.
And moreover, they are planning to expand operations to five cities- Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Ahmedabad by the end of 2024.
