Crox Media Desk reports: Veteran actor Vikram Gokhale’s death news went viral on social media platforms, and even several celebrities shared condolence posts on their social media handles. The actor’s family, on the other hand, denies all death rumors.
Vikram Gokhale is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Pune following some health complications. The 82-year-old actor was admitted to Deenanath Magneshkar a few days ago.
“He is still critically ill and on life support; he has not yet died; please continue to pray for his recovery.” said Vikram Gokhale’s daughter.
Gokhale’s family friend Anand Dave says, “As of now, he has been administered some specialised medicine.” He will be taken to his residence in Pune tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. Gokhale’s daughters requested that everyone not to spread his death rumors”.
Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn tweeted about the actor’s death. He stated that Vikram Gokhale, sir, added gravitas to the roles he played. He always stood tall. I had the opportunity to share my screen with him. His passing is very sad. I pray for his soul to rest in eternal peace. “RIP Vikram sir. condolences to his family and fans.”

The actor is known for his appearances in films like Hum Dil Chukke Sanam, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and more. Gokahle is the son of Marathi theatre and film actor Chandrakant Gokhale, and following his stint in regional cinema, From Amitabh Bachahan’s Parwana to Agneepath and Khuda Gawah, he had worked on over 250 films in both the languages. He was most recently seen in Nikki Ma’s Nikamma, which was released in theatres this June.
