However, Karthik picked up a back injury during South Africa Chase in Perth on Sunday and walked off the field. Rishabh Pant took the gloves and did rest in the second half of the innings. It still remains a mystery if Karthik will be fit for their next Super 12 match against Bangladesh on Wednesday.
