India’s Middle Class, which comprises the biggest portion of the Country’s net population, has very high expectations for the upcoming budget on February 1. Here’s what Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has to say about the expectations.

By Crox Media Desk: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that Central Government will continue to work for the benefit of the Middle Class as she is gearing up to present the Union Budget 2023 in less than three weeks. Sitharaman said she belongs to a middle-class family and understands what they face, adding that BJP led NDA Government has not imposed any new tax on the middle class.
Sitharaman was quoted as saying by a news agency “I belong to the middle class so I can understand them. Modi govt has not imposed any tax on the middle class in any budget so far. She further stated that people earn up to five lahks.
The finance minister also said the government will continue to work in favor of the General Public.
“The Middle class uses to transport the most and we brought metro stations to 27 new places.” A lot of Middle-Class people are shifting in search of employment. We will work for the middle class. “Sithraman Said.
India’s Middle class, which forms the major portion of the population has high expectations from Budget 2023. And this would be the last budget of the BJP Government before the general elections in 2024.
