SBI Card and NPCI have linked Credit Cards on the RUPAY platform with United Payment Interface (UPI) allowing customers to integrate UPI with the credit cards. This would certainly enhance the payment experience and increase card usage as well.
SBI, the country’s largest card issuer, and the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) have announced the linking of SBI Credi Cards on the Rupay platform with UPI. Now, SBI Customers will enable to make UPI transactions through their credit cards with ease. This service can be availed with third-party applications. This will further increase customer experience and result in more card usage.
Simple Steps to Link your SBI Card issued RUPAY on Credit Card on UPI
- Download the third-party UPI app from the play store or app store.
- Verify your mobile number on the app and just complete the registration formalities.
- Upon Successful registration, just select the card type, “Credit Card or Debit Card”
- Select “SBI Credit Card” from the list of Card issuers.
- Select your card to be linked.
- Enter the last 6 digits of your card and the expiry when your screen prompts.
- Proceed to set up your 6-digit UPI PIN.
