Gujarat Voting to be held in two phases on December 1 and December 5 and Results on December 8

The Election Commission announced on Thursday the schedule for assembly elections in Gujarat. On December 1st, the state where the BJP is ruling goes out to hunt for votes once again.

By Crox Media Desk: The Election Commission announced the schedule for the Gujarat Assembly Elections on Thursday. The very state in which the BJP is ruling goes to the polls again.

Assembly polls in Gujarat will be held in two phases. The counting of votes will begin on December 8.

The first phase of assembly elections will take place on December 1, followed by the second phase on December 8.

The legislative assembly of Gujarat has 182 strong members. This time the fight would be a three-cornered one between the ruling BJP, the Congress, and the Aam Admi Party.

Date of Scrutiny: November 15

Deadline to withdraw your nomination: November 17

Date of the poll: December 1

Result announcement: December 8

Date of Scrutiny: November 18

Last date to withdraw Notification: November 21
