By Crox Media Desk: Rivaba Jadeja, wife of Indian Cricket Team All-Rounder Ravindra Jadeja, gets a BJP ticket from Jamnagar North for the upcoming Gujarat Assembly Elections.
Rivaba Jadeja, born on September 5, 1990, studied mechanical engineering at the Atmiya Institute of Technology and Science in Gujarat’s Rajkot. She joined the BJP in 2019 and married the cricketer on April 17, 2016.
On Thursday, the BJP announced the first list of candidates for the upcoming Gujarat Assembly elections, which are scheduled for December this year.
The list of 100 names was announced by Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav.
“Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will contest elections from Ghatlodiya Constituency,” said Yadav.
CM Vijay Rupani and Senior Party Leader Bhupendrasinh Chudasama have said they will contest the elections.
Gujarat, a state where the BJP is seeking its sixth term, will go to the polls in two phases on December 1 and December 5, and the counting of votes will begin on December 8.
