A man in Ghaziabad was shot dead by his wife and lover four years ago. Both the wife and the lover were arrested on murder charges.
Crox Media Desk reports: The Ghaziabad Police claimed to have solved a murder mystery four years ago and arrested two individuals who committed the crime in 2018. Police resurrected the body of a man who was allegedly killed by his wife and neighbours’ lover.
Police said, “The man’s body was buried by his own wife.”
Victim Chandra Vir, a native of Sikrod Village, went missing on September 28, and an FIR was registered at Sihani Gate Police Station. As police were not able to make a breakthrough, the case was eventually closed. But after receiving new input, police reopened the case recently.
Chandra Vir’s wife was in a relationship with a man named Arun alias Anil Kumar before her marriage, and it continued afterwards. During interrogation, Savita revealed that Chandra Vir caught her multiple times in compromising positions with Arun. multiple times and said he used to beat her for this.
On September 28th, 2018, Chandra Vir returned home in a drunken condition and went to sleep. Savita then called Arun and asked him to come over to her house. Using a country-made pistol, he allegedly pumped a bullet in Chandra Vir’s head, killing him on the spot.
The pistol and axe used in the crime have been recovered by the police. “The skeleton was resurrected by a six-foot-deep pit inside Anil’s house.” Additional SP Deeksha Sharma was quoted. And DNA samples are sent for analysis.
