If we talk about cars under 5 Lakh in India, the customers are left with three options mainly Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, and Renault Kwid.

Is there any other car left that you can buy under INR 5 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price)? Unfortunately, there are the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso and the Renault Kwid.
Even in these cars, not all variants are priced under 5 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price). As we mentioned earlier, PVs cost more now.
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10
The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is an affordable car in India. Now with the discontinuation of the Alto 800, we have only two options with the Alto K10. There are two variants as of now, Std and Lxi of the Alto K10 is options under INR 5 Lakh.
Maruti Suzuki S-Presso
When it comes to Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is priced below INR 5 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price) which is the Std variant at INR 4.26 lakh (Ex-showroom Price). And it comes with the same engine as the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, the 1.0 Litre K10C petrol engine which is paired with a 5-speed Manual Transmission.
Renault Kwid
The Renault Kwid was once equipped with a 0.8 Litre Petrol engine. Two of the variants of the Kwid are priced below INR 5 Lakh. There is RXE is at INR 4.69 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price) and RXL (O) is priced at INR 4.99 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price).
