Volvo’s EV portfolio in India currently includes the XC40 recharge with a single motor. But now it is time to add another car to its arsenal.
By Crox Times: Volvo Car India has started accepting bookings for the single motor variant of its XC40 Recharge which is priced at INR 54.95 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price). The vehicle can be booked from the official website with a token amount of 1 lakh.

The Volvo XC40 Recharge single motor gets a 238hp/420 Nm motor paired with a 69KWh lithium-ion battery. The EV claims a range of 475 km as per WTLP standards and it can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 7.3 seconds.
Volvo is offering an eight-year warranty and a three-year comprehensive car warranty on the XC40. Also, the customers will get a three-year Volvo Service Package, three-year road assistance, and a five-year subscription to digital services and wall box charger via a third party.
As far as the sales are concerned, XC40 Recharge’s total of 510 units and C40 Recharge’s 180 units were sold in 2023. Both models contributed 28% of the company’s revenue during the year.
