The compact SUV will be introduced in the half of 2025.
By Crox Times Desk: Skoda’s upcoming sub-4 meter compact SUV has been spotted for the first time in the country. To be affordable, Skoda’s SUV will be a direct rival to Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Breeza, Hyundai Venue, KIA Sonet, and Mahindra Xuv300.

The Skoda Compact SUV will get the roof rails and, spoiled mounted brake system. The vehicle will be based on the India-specific MQB-AO-IN platform which is bigger than Skoda Kushaq mid-size SUV.
As per sources, Skoda’s compact SUV will have a wheelbase of 2,566mm and just for reference Skoda Kushaq has an 85mm longer wheelbase at 2,651mm.
Right at the heart of the Skoda compact SUV, it will have a 3-cylinder, 1.0 Litre generating 115PS of maximum power and 175 peak of torque. As far as the transmission will include a 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT torque converter.
As far as the pricing of the car in the segment is concerned, the expected price of an SUV from Skoda will be in the range of INR 8 Lakh to INR 15 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price). The name of the car is yet to be revealed by the company.
