Elon Musk run Tesla stay ahead of its competitors in the Electric Vehicle market in the US, selling more cars than the other 17 automotive groups together.
EV sales enhanced to 7 percent of all its US passenger vehicles last year, and according to a recent study, it is growing at 54.5 percent every year.
As per the automotive research analyst Abhik Mukherjee, “Tesla is dominating the EV market while other auto giants Ford, General Motors, Volkswagen are struggling a bit to compete in this stiff competitive market”
Certain new players in the market like Lucid Motors, karma and Vinfast are now making their way in US EV market.
“Not just that the recent price cuts by the company and all versions of Tesla’s Model Y becoming eligible for tax credit subsidy, and it is expected that Tesla will take an even quite higher market share” Added Abik Mukherjee.
And the battery sales grew by almost 70 percent YoY to account more than 80 percent of all EV sales in 2022.
All four tesla models were present in the top-10 EV Cars. Hyundai’s IQNIQ and KIA’s EV6 made a significant impact, entering the list in top EV Vehicles in USA.
