TATA Nexon and Maruti Suzuki’s Breeza are the top rivals to the leader in the SUV Segment i.e., Hyundai’s Creta.
By Crox Times: The Tata Nexon continues to dominate to stay the leader in the SUV Segment for the straight second year. It is way ahead of Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Breeza in FY 23.
While Nexon and Breeza ruled the SUV Segment, the Creta has been in for a long time in SUV Space.
With over 1.70k units, the Tata Nexon was the largest-selling SUV in India in FY23, growing 38.68% year-on-year over the previous fiscal. With volumes of around 1.24k Units, it was the best-selling SUV in FY22 as well.
The Hyundai Creta’s Volumes jumped to 27.33% at 1.50k units in FY23 and 1.80k units in the last financial year. Even Maruti Suzuki Breeza recorded a stupendous growth of 28.06% with units dispatches at over 1.45K Units in FY23 from 1.30K in FY22.
The Nexon has been priced between RS 7.80 Lakh to Rs 14 lakhs (Ex-showroom). The Creta Price starts at Rs 10.80 Lakh and goes up to Rs 19.20 Lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). Whereas Maruti Suzuki Breeza sits in the bracket of Rs 8.29 Lakh to Rs 14.14 Lakh.
According to industry estimates, The Passenger Vehicle (PV) segment in India has the highest-ever volumes in a fiscal at 3.80K in FY23. The segment has a 43.02% share of sales.
