One thing is for sure Toyota Taisor will come with a better standard warranty than Maruti Suzuki Fronx.
By Crox Times Desk: Another car from the partnership of Maruti Suzuki and Toyota partnership is all set to make its debut in India. This time around Toyota is set to launch its Toyota Taisor based on Maruti Suzuki Fronx on April 3.
Currently, Maruti Suzuki offers its best-sellers like the Baleno and the Ertiga to Toyota. The Fortuner makers sell the Baleno as the Glanza and the Ertiga as the Rumion. Not only that the pre-facelift version of Vitara Breeza of Maruti was sold by Toyota as Urban Cruiser.
Both companies have also co-developed a mid-size SUV, which Maruti Suzuki sells as the Grand Vitara, and the Urban Cruiser Hyryder by Toyota.
Our experts are expecting that the car will have some cosmetic changes on the Toyota Taisor. It is expected that it will have a new grille, there would be redesigned headlamps and taillamps, and tweaked bumpers. The alloys would be revamped as well. There would be mental changes as such.
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx comes with mainly a couple of engine options- 1.2 Litre Dual-Jet Dual-VVT petrol and 1.0 Turbo Boosterjet petrol engine. There is also a CNG option as well with a 1.2-liter dual-jet Dual VVT petrol engine mated with 5-speed MT. It remains still a mystery to see what offers will be there in Toyota Taisor.
The pricing of the car depends on the trims and powertrains and direct rivals of the car as well.
