By Crox Times Desk: Maruti Suzuki India launched the Jimny in India on June 7. The carmaker sold over 3,000 units of the off-roader during the whole month.
As per the Maruti Suzuki Senior official, “the Jimny customers are usually additional car buyers and some of them are replacement car buyers. However. New buyers are relatively fewer”
With Maruti aiming to dominate the SUV Market, the Jimny is the essential car from its arsenal. Other than the Jimny sells SUVs like the Fronx, Breeza, and Grand Vitara.
Even Maruti’s MD and CEO Hisashi Takeuchi claimed that Jimny will revamp the SUV Market aiming to become the top SUV manufacturer.
The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is priced between 12.74 Lakh and goes up to INR 15.05 Lakh (Ex-showroom). The car is offered in Zeta and Alpha Variants.
If we talk about the specifications K15B 1.5 Petrol engine, which delivers 105PS of maximum power and 134Nm of Peak Torque. The engine can be paired either with 5-speed MT or 4-speed MT.
As far as the mileage of the vehicle is concerned, the carmaker claims it to be 16.94kmpl for 5-speed MT and 16.39 Kmpl for 4-speed MT.
