Nissan and Honda join hands for EV collaboration. 

Nissan and Honda will collaborate on automotive software platforms and will introduce EVs and other complementary products. 

By CROX Times Desk:   The Japanese automobile giants Nissan and Honda announced that they have signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) to begin strategic partnerships in vehicle electrification and intelligence. 

In an official statement of the company, Nissan quoted, “ To further increas the efforts towards carbon neutrality and zero traffic accident fatalities. It is very important to strengthen the environment and technologies as well” 

It further added, “The two companies have reached an understanding based on the belief that it is very important to understand the strengths and explore the possibility of all future collaborations.”

The collaboration includes a study about automotive software platforms and all complementary products related to EV. 

Makoto Uchida, President and CEO, of Nissan Motor Company, “It is very important to understand the landscape of the ever-evolving automotive industry and we have reached this agreement based on the mutual understanding that common challenges that both companies face. And we look forward to further discussions and aim to find a win-win sustainable growth”. 

Toshihiro Mibe, Director and president of Honda Motor Company, “ In this ever-growing era of the automotive industry, we will examine the potential partnership between both companies Our study criteria will be whether the synergy of the technologies and knowledge that both companies have cultivated over the years and make sure that we add new value to the automotive industry”.
