By Crox Media Desk: A woman Youtuber from South Korea was harassed by a man on the streets of Mumbai during her live stream. The incident that took place on Tuesday is going viral on social media.
The video posted on Twitter shows the man grabbing the Youtuber by her and trying to kiss her while she was live. Two men were later held by the Mumbai Police.
The woman identified by her Twitter handle Mhyochi shared the video from her handle and wrote, “Last night I was live streaming on the streets of Mumbai, there was a guy who harassed me. I tried my best to escalate the situation and he was with his friend. And some people said It was initiated by me being too friendly and engaging. Now, this makes me rethink streaming again”.
In a one-minute-long video, the accused can be seen offering a lift to the woman and when she resisted, he tried to grab her hand and tries to kiss her on her neck.
She strongly resisted and said, “it’s time to go home” on the live stream. However, the accused followed her with his scooty and offers her a lift again. “Come sit” can be heard in the video.
The woman retaliated by saying her home is nearby and she will go on own.
Mumbai Police Responded
Soon after the video was shared by netizens, the Mumbai Police responded by asking her to share her contact details. Mumbai Police responded on Twitter, “We have followed you, kindly share your contact details in DM”
The accused are identified as Mobeen Chand Mohammad Sheikh (19) and Mohammad Sadrealeam Ansari now arrested by Khar Police.
