By Crox Media Desk: The Father of Nikki Yadav, who is allegedly killed by live-in partner Sahil Gehlot that he wasn’t aware of the relationship with the accused and was informed by Delhi Police about her murder.
According to the latest update in the case, the victim was planning a trip to Goa but later on, she cancelled as she came to know that Sahil was getting married to someone else.
The 22-year-old victim was allegedly killed by her live-in partner Sahil on February 10. He then stored a body in the fridge in a dhaba on the outskirts of Mitraon Village in Najafgarh.
As per the sources, the deceased identified as Nikki Yadav was strangled by her boyfriend Sahil Gehlot (26) near Kashmiri Gate ISBT on an intervening night between 9 and 10 February. The accused used his mobile phone’s data cable to strangulate the woman.
Her Father said, “ I got a call from the police and was informed about the murder. The cops called on Tuesday and wanted me to identify the body and I got to know it is her body.
I want a death sentence for Sahil. I request the court to hang him till death”
Nikki’s father further added she was pursuing English Honours from Galgotia’s University, Noida. “I never saw her in a disturbed state, she came home 15-20 days and stayed with us for around 4 days.”
The crime branch recovered the vehicle in which the victim was strangulated to death.
The cremation of the victim will be held in her hometown.
