The telecom giant launched its 5G services back in October 2022 and in just 4 months, the company had managed to cover 150 cities with a 5G Network. Dubbed Jio 5G true, the faster network expanded its reach to states like Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and More.
With the recent deployment, Jio has covered 17 states and Union Territories and is live in 184 cities. Let’s have a look at the cities where Jio has deployed its 5G network recently.
Jio 5G reaches 50 cities
- Chittor, Srikakulam, Ongole (Arunachal Pradesh)
- Panaji (GOA)
- Dhanbad (Jharkhand)
- Bilaspur, Korba (Chattishgarh)
- Ambala, Sonipat, Sirsa, Rohtak, Panipat (Haryana)
- Alappuzha (Kerala)
- Puducherry (Puducherry)
- Amritsar (Punjab)
- Bhadrak, Puri, Sambalpur (Odisha)
- Bikaner, Kota (Rajasthan)
- Erode, Dharampuri (Tamil Nadu)
Meanwhile, Jio is already available in more than 100 cities- Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Noida, Ghaziabad, Pune, Kochi, Lucknow, Bhopal, Indore, Cuttack, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Meerut, Tirupati, Agra, Kanpur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Thrissur, Rourkela, Brahmapur, and other 33 districts of Gujarat.
In the meantime, the telecom operator is offering a 5G 5G mobile network at no extra cost. Unlike Airtel, Jio Users will have to wait for the welcome offer from the company. According to the telco, once an invite is sent, Jio Users can enjoy 5G speed with more than 1Gbps speed.
What is Jio 5G Offer?
Jio is sending the 5G welcome offer to customers who have an active plan of 239 or more. For users who don’t have an active plan. Jio has named its Rs 61 plan as the upgrade plan. So, recharging with this add-on plan will make users eligible for 5G.
