A couple from New Colony, who work in Private Companies allegedly tortured and sexually assaulted a girl from Jharkhand. She was hired by the couple to take care of their child.
By Crox Media – A-14-year-old girl was brutally tortured and sexually assaulted for months by a couple in Gurugram, the Police said.
On Tuesday, a joint team of police and Sakhi, a one-step crisis centre, rescued the girl from the new colony, news agency PTI reported.
The couple from the new colony tortured the girl and several injuries on her hands, mouth, and feet were found according to police.
The Minor girl from Ranchi was hired through a placement agency five months ago to take care of their three and half year-old daughter. The couple made her work and used to beat her daily, according to a report by PTI.
Along with not letting her sleep the whole night, they didn’t give her food. Her mouth was completely swollen and several injury marks were found on her body, Pinky Malik, the Sakhi Centre in charge said her complaint.
The minor girl used to eat leftover food in the dustbin. The victim is critical and receiving treatment in the hospital.
An FIR is registered against the couple under 323 (causing hurt) and 342 (Wrongful confinement) under IPC and the Juvenile Justice act. New Colony Police station SHO Dinkar, said, “We are verifying facts and the couple will be arrested soon”
