Hyundai sold over 509,910 units in the domestic market in FY23 during the period of January to October.
By Crox Times Desk: Dominating its presence in the domestic market, Hyundai Motor India is set to cross over 6 lakhs in volume for the first time ever in the history during the calendar year in 2023 as backed up by models like Creta, Venue, and Nios.
From January to October, Hyundai sold 509,910 units in the domestic market, according to the data revealed by the society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).
During this period, the Sport Utility Vehicle have been the volume drivers, with the popular Hyundai Creta leading the charge with over 1,36,000 units followed by the Hyundai venue at 107,000 units. Even the Hyundai Exter which entered the market in July has performed well in terms of sales of 31,000 units. Not only that Hyundai Grand i10 Nios also contributed handsomely with over 72,000 units.
Among the reasons for the record domestic volume that the Ioniq 5-maker is heading towards CY 23 is good demand for SUVs. And there are new models expected from Hyundai next year.
