By Crox Times Desk: The automotive landscape is all set to welcome the revamped KIA Sonet with its facelifted version now introduced by the company. We expect the vehicle to be launched in early 2024. The new KIA Sonet is not just a cosmetic uplift but it also has updated features and technical enhancements.
Under the hood, the 2024 KIA Sonet Facelift will continue to offer three engines- an 83hp 1.2 Litre petrol engine, a 1.0 Litre- Petrol Engine, and a robust 116hp, 1.5 Diesel Engine. These powertrains are expected to retain their current transmission pairings that include a 5-speed manual for the petrol, and a 6-speed DCT for the petrol.
Externally, the Sonet is expected to have a revamped bumper, a new KIA grille flanked by LED Headlights with a fresh design, and 16-inch alloy wheels. The rear will also witness some updates enhancing the model’s look.
Inside the car, it is expected to have a new digital instrument cluster. Additionally, the interior will have a refreshed color option. The dashboard layout and switchgear will also be upgraded.
Not only that we also expect this model will ADAS, since its rival Hyundai Venue was given the feature by the company.
Despite all these updates, the price of KIA Sonet will have a starting price of INR 8 lakh and it will continue to compete with Hyundai Venue, TATA Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Breeze and others in this category.
