Maruti Suzuki Fronx crosses 10,000 units in terms of monthly volume

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is a direct rival to the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and KIA Sonet. 

By CROX Times Desk:  The car was launched in April, the it is steadily taking its place among the volume drivers of the country’s largest carmaker, with average monthly sales crossing 10,000 units. 

The Maruti Fronx is a direct rival to the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and KIA Sonet, which have now reached an average of 10,585 units per month. 

Interestingly, the naturally aspirated (NA) petrol of the sub-4 metre compact SUV is outselling the turbo-engine one by a huge margin. 

The car is priced between INR 7.46 lakh and INR 13.13 lakh (ex-showroom price). The most recent addition to the country’s largest carmaker comes with mainly two engine options: a 1.2-liter dual-jet VVT NA Petrol Engine and 1.0-turbo Boosterjet Petrol Engine. 

The recent data revealed by the company reveals that more buyers are interested for manual version than the automatic one. 

The Fronx (AT + AMT) is crossing over 2,519 units on average every month, with a share of over 23.8% in total volume. 

The car also comes with a CNG option with a 5-speed MT. The price of the car goes between INR 8.41 lakh and INR 9.27 lakh.
