Gujarat Diary co-operative Amul has announced an increase in its milk prices of Rs 3 on fresh milk with effect from today.
By Crox Media Desk: Gujarat dairy co-operative Amul has announced a hike up to Rs 3 on fresh milk effective from today. Post this revision, Amul Gold (Milk Category) will be Rs 66 per litre.
Amul Taaza Will be Rs 54 per liter. The price of Amul’s Cow Milk is Rs 56 and Amul A2 Buffalo Milk will cost Rs 70 per litre. Amul released a statement on Thursday.
The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which markets its dairy products under the Amul brand, last increased the prices of Gold, Taaza, and Shakti Milk by Rs 2 Per Litre in October.
The marketing federation “We would like to inform you that the price of Amul Pouch Milk has been revised upwards effective from February 3” The main reason behind this overall increase in milk prices due to enhanced cost of operations and production of milk. The cattle feeding cost alone has increased to approximately 20 percent. Amul said.
