This revamped blue mark will let users get it for their profile which was earlier restricted to journalists, celebrities, and politicians. Twitter also said earlier that people who have a blue tick on their profile need to pay the amount to retain it. The Blue Subscription will cost $8 (roughly RS 660) and for the web platform $11 (nearly 900) for iPhone it is slightly higher on apple’s platform to compensate for the 30 percent fee that app developers need to pay to Apple App Store.
