By Crox Times Desk: India’s own Tata Motors posted a growth of over 7% on year-on year in the domestic passenger vehicle (PV) wholesales in February 2023 as the Sport Utility Vehicles like Nexon and Punch continued to impress people with its strong performance.
The PV Volumes of the company stood at 42,862 units in February 2023, a rise of 7.2% y-o-y over 39,981 units sold a year ago.
Other than Nexon and Punch, Tata Motors also sells SUVs 2023 Harrier and the 2023 Safari. The company also sells Tiago hatchback, Altroz premium hatchback, Altroz premium hatchback and Tigor Compact Sedan.
The Company recently launched Harrier and Tata Safari with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) and several other additional features, including a 10.3 touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital TFT instrument cluster and a 360 degree back camera.
TATA Motors has also updated its PV with engines that complies with E20 fuel norms and real driving emission (RDE).
The company sells popular CVs Tata Intra, Tata Ace, Tata Prime and Tata Cityride.
The overall domestic volumes of the company including PVs and CVs jumped from 5.59% at 78,006 units in Feb 2023. It came in 73,875 units in Feb 2023.
