Tata Motors has launched the iCNG of the Altroz Hatchback, which was showcased at the auto expo.
By Crox Times Desk: Tata Motors has launched the Altroz iCNG in India priced at 7.55 Lakh. The hatchback is the first model in India to feature a twin-cylinder CNG System, allowing more use of boot space. After TATA Tiago and Tigor, this is a third model from TATA.
Commenting on the launch, Shailesh Chandra Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd, said “Customers are now increasingly choosing alternate fuel options with the intent of saving hard-earned money and someone who is looking to drive eco-friendly. CNG as a fuel with its wide availability and accessibility has gained quite good popularity among car lovers. In January 2022, we addressed that we are infusing iCNG technology in both Tigor and Tiago offering top-notch performance. Now we are delighted to launch the Altorz CNG which redefines the CNG Market”
Tata Altroz iCNG Features and Performance
In terms of features, the car comes with an electric sunroof which is voice-operated, a smart wireless charger, an air-purifier, Android Auto and rear AC, and much more. The Tata Altroz iCNG comes with a 1.2 engine that generates 73.5bhp and 103NM of torque. The car comes with 5-Speed manual transmission.
