The Swift from Maruti Suzuki has been a leader for the company in terms of sales.
By CROX Times Desk: Maruti Suzuki India has unveiled the fourth-generation Swift at the Tokyo Motor Show 2023. This model is as of now referred to as a concept, and it is expected to make its debut in 2024.
The Swift has played a major role in sales of the company. In FY24, the company sold over 10300 units surpassing Wagon R. Prior to that, it was the fourth largest Selling car with 177,000 units sold and the Second largest in FY22 with over 168,000 units sold.
If we talk about the features of the car, it includes a new grille, headlamps, bumper, and along with new alloy wheels. In terms of safety features, the car comes with dual sensor brake system and a driver monitoring system. The new interior has been completely revamped with a new design, an updated infotainment system, and a fresh instrument cluster.
The car comes with two transmission options- a 5-speed manual transmission (MT) and a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). It comes with a CNG option too and it is likely to be launched in 2024.
The swift is priced between INR 6 Lakh to INR 9 Lakh. However, the price of the new Swift in 2024 is likely to increase.
