Maruti managed to sell more than TATA and Mahindra Combined Last month.

The Grand Vitara maker registered a growth of 9% in terms of domestic volume in February.

By CROX Times Desk: The Country’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki sold more passenger vehicles (PVs) in the domestic market last month which is more than sales of TATA and Mahindra Combined.

Maruti’s PV sales stood over 160,000 units in February while for TATA it was 51,000 units and Mahindra managed to sell 143,000.

The nation’s largest carmaker registered a growth of 9% in domestic PV in February.

The Compact segment of Maruti Suzuki Including Celerio, Wagon R, Ignis, Swift, Baleno, and Dzire was a major contributor in sales of over 71,000 units, followed by the utility vehicles segment (Fronx, Breeza, Grand Vitara, and Invicto at 61,000 units.

The mini segment (Alto K10 and S Presso) was next with over 14,000 units.  Then comes the van segment, having Eco at 12,147 Units. And as far as the mid-size segment is concerned CIAZ managed to gain sales of over 481 Units.

Earlier Maruti’s Senior Executive officer for marketing and sales, Shashank Srivastava said that Nexa is currently the fastest growing brand which had crossed over 500,000 units mark during FY 24 with a growth of over 52%.

In the current fiscal, Maruti has a share of 70% in the hatchback segment, over 50% in the sedan segment more than 55% in the MPV segment, and over 90% in the Van segment.
