The price of KIA Carens begins at INR 10.45 Lakh and goes upto INR 18.96 Lakh (Ex-showroom)
By Crox Times Desk: KIA India has announced a recall of more than 30.000 units of the KIA Carens MPV to fix a technical error related to the Instrument Cluster.
As per the media reports, as many as over 30,000 units, manufactured between September 2022 will be recalled soon.
The glitch in the instrument cluster will be fixed via software update and this will be absolutely free.
An official statement reads “As a responsible and trusted carmaker, KIA Conducts all the checkups and technical tests set by the KIA Global Standard. The company has initiated the recall and this would be done free of cost”
It further added, “The recall had been started to inspect any potential error which is going on currently. During this campaign, the company will take the whole responsibility for all the inconvenience”
The KIA Carens are priced at INR 10.45 Lakh and go up to INR 18.95 Lakh (Ex-showroom). It is a direct rival of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Maruti Suzuki XL6, and Toyota Innova Crysta.
So far as engine options are concerned, the KIA Carens comes with three engine options 1.5 Litre Smartstream Petrol, 1.5 Smart Stream T-Gdi Petrol, and 1.5 Litre CRDi VGT Diesel engine.
