Hyundai Creta Continued Its Dominance in the Mid-Size Suv Segment

Hyundai Creta continued its dominance in the Mid-Size SUV segment, with Rivals like Astor, Taigun, and Kushaq worst performers in May.

The Mid SUV like Kushaq and the Taigun could not reach 2,000 units and MG Astor failed to reach even 1,000 units.

By Crox Times Desk: Hyundai’s Creta continued its dominance in the Mid-size SUV Segment with impressive sales in May. While Maruti Suzuki clocked handsome sales during the month, the KIA Seltos saw a dip in the buyers now waiting for the arrival of its facelift.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has not been able to compete with the success of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara as far as the volumes are concerned. The poor performance is shown by Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and MG Astor as well.

The Creta once again showed superb performance with domestic volumes of 14,000 units in May. The Grand Vitara registered sales of 8,887 units during the month.

The Seltos has witnessed quite a boom in terms of sales and the new model is yet to enter the market. If we talk about only the month KIA Seltos as many as 4,065 units were sold. KIA is yet to unveil the new model on July 4.

The Grand Vitara and Toyota’s Urban Cruiser are the same. However, Toyota’s model has not been able to match the Maruti Suzuki model in terms of volume.
