By Admin: Twitter’s new chief has no idea who the new CEO actually is. Musk fired Parag Agarwal the day before he was taking over Twitter. But the signed document with SEC reveals a whole new story. It reads that Elon Musk is the New CEO of Twitter but a public announcement is yet to be made.
Musk parted ways with CEO Parag Agarwal, legal head Vijaya Gadde and CFO Ned Segal as soon as the new deal got closed. After firing all the top executives, musk dissolved the board and became the new CEO of the social platform.
“On October 27, 2022, and as a result of their emergence, Mr Musk become the sole director of Twitter. In accordance with the agreement, at the effective time of the merger, the following persons who were directors of twitter before the effective time of the merger are no longer serving as directors. The following persons were serving as directors: Bret Taylor, Parag Agarwal, David Rosenblatt Martha Lane Fox, Patrick Pichette, Egon Durban, and Mimi Alemayehou” Revealed the document. s
But Musk said this is “temporary” and still remains the director and he is expected to form the board soon. Musk is all geared up to make all the necessary changes in the site’s verification process. As per reports, Tesla’s CEO is likely to ask $20 to retain their blue tick and if users are not able to pay that much then they will lose the verification tick.
