Maruti Suzuki Breeza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and KIA Sonet were best-selling SUVs in India in February.
By Crox Times Desk: There is nothing wrong in saying that the SUV Segment every month is rapidly growing in India. It is now more of a PV-dominant market with a 43% market share. Of 43% the share of the compact SUV is above 22%, the mid-size around 20%, and the premium less than 1%. In February, the Maruti Suzuki Breeza, Tata Nexon, Tata Punch, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet were the best-selling sub-4 metre SUVs (Compact)
Maruti Suzuki Breeza
Maruti Suzuki India sold 15,787 units of Breeza in February. This is priced between Rs 8.19 lakh and Rs 14.04 lakh (Ex-showroom), the Maruti Suzuki Breeza was not the largest-selling compact SUV during the month, but also the overall SUV sales chart-topper.
Tata Punch
Along with Tata Nexon, the other SUV has played a strong role in Tata Motors and its Punch is compelled with features with starting pricing at 6 Lakh and 9.47 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price). The Tata Punch registered sales of around 12K Units in February.
KIA Sonet Among the five best-selling Compact SUVs in February was the Kia Sonet with 10K Units. The sonet’s Price starts at 7.69 Lakh and goes up to Rs 14.39 Lakh (Ex-showroom)
