The Punch from Tata managed to beat Hyundai Exter in terms of volumes in July, August, and September in terms of volumes.
By CROX Times Desk: The TATA Punch has beaten Hyundai Exter for the third consecutive month in terms of volumes. The wholesale despatches of the Indian brand were more than the Korean brand and it continued in September as well.
Tata Motors sold over 13k Units of Punch in September only. Compared to Hyundai India, it managed to sell over 8K units of Hyundai Exter during this month.
Not only that Punch failed to make it to the list of Top 10 selling SUVs in India in September. However, TATA Punch remained to be the third-selling SUV in September.
If we talk about the price of TATA Punch and Hyundai Exter, both cars go in the price range of INR 6 Lakh to INR 10.10 Lakh.
At the heart of the car, TATA Punch goes with a 1.2-liter Revotron Petrol Engine with both manual and automatic transmissions. There is a CNG Option as well in the compact SUV from TATA. Contrary to this, the Hyundai Exter leverages the power of a 1.2 Litre Kappa Petrol Engine with 5-speed both petrol and 5-speed AMT options. And the car comes with the CNG option as well.
