KIA India has added an electric sunroof to the HTK+ variant of the KIA Sonet, making this feature the most affordable option in a sub-4-metre compact SUV. The KIA Sonet Smart stream G1.2 GTK+ variant comes with an electric sunroof priced at INR 9.76 Lakh.
The KIA Sonet is the largest-selling compact SUV and rivals the likes of Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Mahindra XUV 300.
The car was introduced in September 2020, and ever since it was launched the car has garnered volumes of over 3.30 Lakhs units since then.
The KIA Smart stream G1.2 HTK employs a 1.2 Litre SmartStream Petrol Engine that generates maximum power and 115 NM Peak of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Apart from the electric sunroof, this variant comes with the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto, Four speakers and Tweeters, automatic climate control, and automatic headlamps.
