Nexon EV Catches Fire in Pune, No Official Statement from Tata Motors Yet

Tata Motors had not responded to the Tata Nexon fire incident in Pune. 

By Crox Times desk: In another unfortunate EV fire incident. A TATA Nexon reportedly burst into flames in Pune, Maharashtra on April 16. While there is no report of any passenger being hurt, the cause of the fire has been ascertained yet. 

Tata Motors did not respond to the query as the official statement on the Tata Nexon EV fire incident in Pune. 

The model involved in the fire incident was a Nexon EV XZ+ and it was fairly new, being registered in July 2022 according to government data. 

However, this is the not first time that a Nexon EV has caught fire. Back in June 2022, a Nexon EV burst into flames in Mumbai Maharashtra. Thankfully no person was reported hurt. 

The Tata Nexon EV Price starts at 14.49 Lakh (ex-showroom) and the top variant is available for Rs 19.54 Lakh (ex-showroom)

The Nexon EV is the largest-selling electric passenger vehicle in India. The car was launched in January 2020 and crossed the milestone of selling 50,000 units. 

Apart from Tata Nexon EV, Tata Motors also offers EV versions of Tata Tiago. EV and Tata Tigor. ev.
