MG Motors introduced the fifth model in India after Astor, Hector, Gloster, and ZS EV.
By Crox Times desk: MG Motor India recently revealed the name of its affordable EV. The model will be known as Comet. The speculation for the car was made for a long time now. as of now, the company has not yet disclosed details about the technical features and specifications. There are a few things we know about the vehicle.
MG Comet Launch and price in India
The car is expected to be launched in Mid-April 2023.
MG has been claiming that the Comet will be an affordable EV and sit in the price range of 10 lahks and 15 lakh prices (ex-showroom)
MG Comet Features
The MG-comet is a three-door EV. It is basically a rebadged Wuling Air EV, which is currently sold in the Indonesian Market. It will come equipped with a full LED lighting setup, having LED headlights and LED taillights. The car would have 13-inch wheels.
MG Comet specifications
The MG Comet will get a 50KW motor paired with a 25KkWh battery. One single charge could take you to 250 km.
MG Comet Rivals The rivals MG Comet will rival the likes of the Tata Tiago EV and the Citroen e-c3. The price of Tata Tiago Ev is between Rs 8.69 Lakh and Rs 11.69 Lakh, the Citroen e-C3 is between Rs 11.50 to Rs 12.43 Lakh.
