Maruti nearly sold over 2 Lakh units of Swift last year.
By Crox Times Desk: The Maruti Suzuki Swift was the largest-selling car in the calendar year (CY) 2023 the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R and Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
The country’s largest carmaker has sold over 2 Lakh units of the Swift in CY 23.
The Swift is priced between INR 5.99 Lakh and INR 9.03 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price). However, the prices are likely to be increased since the company announced the hike in January 2024.
Right at the heart of the Maruti Suzuki Swift is a 1.2 Litre K-series Dual VVT petrol Engine that generates 89.7 PS of maximum power and 113 of Peak Torque. It can be paired either with a 5-speed MT or 5-speed AMT. There is also a CNG option that generates 77.5PS and 98.5 PS with a 5-speed MT.
Maruti is expected to launch the new Swift in India in 2024 and the car has already spied testing. The new model was first showcased at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 as a “Concept” but it appeared which be almost ready for production.
