Maruti Suzuki witness 7,900 Bookings for Invicto, demand for SUVs Increases
The Invicto enters the market into 20 Lakh Plus Category.
By Crox Times Desk: Maruti Suzuki witnessed over 7,900 bookings for the recently launched Multi-purpose Vehicle (MPV), the Invicto whereas the demand for SUVs has increased with a pending orders being almost 135,000 according to senior company official.
Maruti Initiated the bookings on June 19 with a token of INR 25000. An updated version of Toyota Innova Hycross, is sold in over 260 Nexa outlets across the country.
The Invicto marks Maruti’s entry into INR 20 plus category. It is priced between INR 24.79 lakh and INR 28.42 Lakh (ex-showroom). The car is offered in both 7–8-seater configuration.
With four SUVs Fronx, Breeza, Grand Vitara and Jimny in its portfolio now. The company is aiming to gain 25% share of the SUV Market in FY24.
The combined volume for Maruti’s four SUVs in June crossed 30,000 units. The current order robust with the pending ones being over 50,000 for Breeza, 30,000 for Grand Vitara, 28,000 for the Jimny and 27,000 for the Fronx.
Depending on the different variants, the Breeza has a waiting period of 16-18 weeks, the Grand Vitara of 12 weeks and the Fronx has also waiting period of 12 weeks.
