The Maruti Suzuki and the TATA Nexon are the two of the largest-selling compact SUV Segment.
By Crox Times Desk: The battle of supremacy in the 4 Metre Compact SUV Segment is still going on between Maruti Suzuki Breeza and Tata Nexon, especially after the facelift version introduced by Tata Motors.
In the current Fiscal FY 24, the Breeza is way ahead of Nexon in terms of volume. The Maruti model has clicked over 95000 units while TATA managed to sell over 94,000 models in the period of April to October.
Since the facelift version of the Nexon was scheduled to be launched in September, the pre-facelift version witnessed a sudden dip in sales in the month of August and this is the reason for the Nexon trailing behind Breeza in the fiscal.
If you are living in a nutshell, the TATA Nexon has been the largest-selling SUV in India for two consecutive years, in FY22 and FY23 at 124,130 units and 172,139 units respectively.
The new TATA Nexon is priced between INR 8.10 Lakh and INR 15.50 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price). The car comes with two engine options- Revotron 1.2 Litre turbo petrol 120/170NM and Revetorq 1.5 Litre diesel (115/260NM).
The Maruti Suzuki Breeza is priced between INR 8.29 Lakh and INR 14.10 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price). It employs the K15 1.5 Litre petrol engine (103PS/137NM) with 5-speed MT and 6-Speed AT options.
