Known for its rough and tough body and exceptional performance, Mahindra is all ready to reveal Thar.e electric SUV, OJA tractors, and other future products at its event in Cape Town South Africa on August 15.
By Crox Times Desk: Mahindra has released the teaser video for electric thar which through visual presentation would be known as Thar.e. This is going to be the third version of Popular Mahindra Thar, which is currently only its 3-door version, with the 5-door version to make its debut in 2024 according to Mahindra.
The teaser only provides some glimpse of the vehicle, so it is confirmed Thar Electric will be based on the brands. This electric SUV underpins the five upcoming electric vehicles from Mahindra. This means that Thar.e will not be the same model as the 3-door Thar, this is a major challenge for the carmaker due to limited space and modularity.
In terms of design, the electric Thar is expected to follow a similar to that of Electric Thar. But the official design is yet to be confirmed by the company. The Taillamps are shown in the teaser and feature a similar design to the ones which are on Thar, but more modern with LED Tech. It is a still mystery whether the Thar.e will be 3-door or 5-door or can be offered in both body shapes.
