If we talk about the mid-size SUV segment dominated by the Hyundai Creta, the new KIA Seltos is bagging second place with the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
By Crox Times Desk: The new KIA Seltos 2023 has crossed 50,000 bookings in just 2 months ever since it launched. As per the report of KIA India, the Mid SUV has managed to gain over 800 bookings in its top trims, right from HTX Onwards.
While bookings for KIA Seltos began on July 14, the mid-size SUV was launched on July 21. The KIA Seltos made its global debut on July 4.
If we talk about pricing INR 10,89,000 and INR 19,99,000 (Ex-showroom), the KIA Seltos is a direct rival to the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Taigun, and MG Astor and many others.
For reference, the Seltos recorded a volume of 9,740 units in the month of July against its rival 9,079 units of Grand Vitara. KIA India claimed that nearly 47% of its bookings have been for the variants equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technology.
KIA has sold over 4,00,000 units of the Seltos in the domestic market since the car was launched back in 2019.
