Hyundai Exter is an important model for the Indian Arm of the South Korean carmaker since they are going to take TATA Punch Compact SUV.
By Crox Times Desk: Hyundai Motor India will launch the all-new Hyundai Exter SUV in the country today. This will be the carmaker’s most affordable SUV and equipped with multiple just like rivals Hyundai Venue, Creta, Alcazar, and Tucson.
While Hyundai was the largest SUV maker in 2020 and 2021, however, TATA Motors took over it in 2022 and even Mahindra sold many SUVs. With the launch of the Hyundai Exter, the carmaker is all set to regain its space in the SUV market.
TATA Motors has been continuously a rival of Hyundai when it comes to being India’s Largest SUV Carmaker. A major push for Tata Motors comes from the great volumes of TATA Punch and TATA Nexon. While TATA Nexon is an SUV Segment and way ahead of Hyundai Venue’s, it is expected to match the sales of the TATA Punch and even more.

Hyundai Exter Price and Mileage
We expect the Hyundai Exter to be somewhere between INR 6 Lakh to INR 9.50 Lakh. And the Price of the Hyundai Exter of the Top Variant might exceed INR 10 Lakh. As far as the mileage of the car is concerned, it is expected to be over 19 Kmpl for the Petrol MT and AT Models. And for the CNG, it is expected to be easy over 25km/kg.
Hyundai Exter: Interior and Specifications
The carmaker has already shared the Exter will be equipped- 1.2 -Litre Kappa Petrol Engine which can be seen popular Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and the Aura. It produces 83PS of Maximum power and 113.8Nm peak of torque. The Transmission options include both 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT.
Talking about the Interiors, the car is equipped with multiple features such as 8 Inch HD Infotainment System with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, digital instrument, automatic climate control, seat belt reminder for both front seat and back seat passengers, 6 Airbags, and Cruise Control. Moreover, the vehicle gets an electric Sunroof which is found in the models of higher OEMs.
